# Locking tokens (vesting)

When creating an order through AutoBoy, users may opt to lock their tokens to increase the amount they can spend.

After purchase, these tokens are automatically locked for the user-selected time period using [Sablier](https://sablier.com/vesting).

Currently, locking/vesting is a simple '[time lock](https://docs.sablier.com/concepts/lockup/stream-shapes#timelock)'. Once the lock time has passed, a user may withdraw all of their tokens as usual.
