# Max MCap (Price)
AutoBoy calculates an [effective market cap](/mcap-calculation): factoring in all pool fees, including sniper taxes, when evaluating a token's price.
The 3% [platform fee](/fees) is taken *after* a successful swap.
The 'Max MCap (Price)' is **the maximum market cap you’re willing to buy the token at:** in other words. **the highest price you’re willing to pay** for the token.
It doesn’t mean you *will* pay this much to buy the token, it’s just the upper limit.
### Setting Max MCap (Open Market Orders)
When creating or adjusting an open market order, you can choose a custom Max MCap, or choose a default.
Hit "Clear" to enter Expert Mode (NO LIMIT): this means your auto-buy will happen as quickly as possible after launch, regardless of high prices.
### What Max MCap (Price) should I set?
* Choosing a Max MCap is your decision. For reference, tap the ? icon above the input box to see the current MCaps of some other tokens.
* Still not sure? Choose one of the defaults; the higher default will give your order a better chance at success at a potentially higher price.
* A note on NO LIMIT: The effective MCap of a token is often higher than you may expect for a brief period after launch (see "Sniper Tax" in [Market Cap Calculation](mcap-calculation)), so although **NO LIMIT** virtually guarantees an early buy, it may come at a high price. *Set a Max MCap if you're price-sensitive.*
